Designation: Commercial Manager (Manager I, Project Management)

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 9 - 12 Years

Qualification: Graduate / MBA/ CA/ ICWA

Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM (IST)

Role: Individual Contributor


Responsible for the commercial management of large vendor Contract.

  • Project Billing Schedules Maintenance and updates for Change requests.

  • Purchase Order Creation, Raising, Securing Approvals, Analysis and PO Run out reports and initiating PO replenishment actions.

  • Vendor Invoices and currency validation, inwarding into Accounts Payables and payments tracking.

  • Vendor master creation, maintenance and updates as needed.

  • Reports on Project Billing Schedules vs. Actual invoicing, Forex gains/ losses.

  • Processing charge backs to Vendor for contractual obligations and pass through expenses.

  • Interlock with Finance, Procurement and Business Leadership to ensure timely billing, forecasting, analysis and controls.

  • Maintain Records of POs, Contractual Documents, Change Requests and Invoices.

  • Maintain, track and Control billing and credits for unfulfilled vendor obligations.

  • Assistance in internal and external audits and SOX compliance.

  • Application of Automation and AI in processing reports and analysis.


  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience.

  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager.

  • Generally domestic accountability.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists and reports on schedules as well as project budgets.

  • Organizes project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.

  • Ensures the ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations.

  • All other duties as assigned.
