Responsibilities:
Design/develop/deliver an entry production 3D Metal Jet Printer, including print head assembly, optical sensing, jetting driver electronics, numeric controls & drives, supporting mechanical & thermal subsystems.
Interact with the multi-discipline engineering teams
Work closely with suppliers and supply chain, conduct CSI as needed
Perform first order analysis and testing in order to ensure part quality and robustness
Develop & maintain plans and resource priorities to support program-level deliverables using waterfall and agile project management methodologies to ensure predictable engineering organizational performance.
Conceive and implement new work processes outside corporate norms to enable shorter knowledge and operational task lead-times.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Engineering or requisite industrial experience
Design experience with high level of NX/SolidWorks or other CAD multi-assembly design
Ability to design and implement hardware for electronic devices as well as mechanical component such as drive systems.
Design and prototype drivers and controllers for electronic packaging
Architecture responsibility for layout and implementation of design into manufacturing hardware assemblies
Ability to manage large vault of CAD designs and setting-up ability for version control
Transfer of design from engineering to production and management of relationships
