Purpose:

  • Responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's compensation programs and policies.

Scope:

  • Identifies needs, designs, and supports sales and incentive comp matters

  • managing general compensation matters (e.g. broad-based compensation, exec compensation

  • Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of organizational strategies

  • Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges/ regulatory issues

  • Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities

  • May include international accountability; and may include some global accountability

Candidate Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required. An M.B.A. or advanced degree preferred; designations in areas of tax, accounting or law will be considered a plus.

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or other Compensation Professional Certification.

  • Subject matter expertise and recent work experience creating and shaping compensation programs inside a highly competitive industry are required.

  • Strong business acumen; a solid understanding of the financial, legal and tax implications of the various global compensation alternatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver flexible, creative compensation strategies that link directly to operating unit issues/drivers, as well as proven ability to manage the corporate communications strategies
