Responsible for assisting in the procurement of inventory including equipment and supplies.
Create and maintain inventory product codes and up-to-date current costs. Ensure all Purchase Order costs are correct.
Responsible for scheduling and coordinating inventory movements including receiving, deliveries and customer moves.
Manage daily truck schedules.
Provide constant communications with warehouse supervisor, drivers, leasing administrators
Manage daily machine pick up / lease return log
Coordinate lease returns within time frames required per return instructions. Coordinate between Admin, Trucking firm and leasing company.
Assist with end of month closing procedures
Assist with physical inventory on a quarterly basis
Coordinate with sister companies any movement/transfer of inventory within Global when required. Assist in incoming and outgoing equipment orders (Delivery and Pickup).
Responsible for tracking equipment/supplies movement including transfers to ensure integrity of inventory.
High School diploma and 3+ years related experience is required. Experience in the office products or similar industry a plus but not required
Prior inventory movement or inventory logistics movement experience is required.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong relationship management skills with customers, vendors, and personnel within the organization required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing priorities.
Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions.
Computer literacy and familiarity with the internet required.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Ability to work under stress/pressure to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
Ability to travel to customer sites, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice.
Valid driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage required.
