Job Description:

Provides internal mail room services for all inbound correspondence to the organization’s designated addresses and all outbound correspondence to Xerox clients. Responsible for the elevation of facility needs locally.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Senior-level job with considerable work experience

  • Operating mailing, copy, and scanning equipment.

  • Orders paper, toner, and other supplies as directed by Site Manager or Supervisor.

  • Uses all multifunction printers, postage machines, letter openers, Kodak high-capacity scanners, and laptop/PC.

  • Work various on-line queues such as PCI validations.

  • Effectively prepares and troubleshoots various file formats and changes to PDF print-ready status.

  • Ensures convenience copiers are working properly and consumable supplies are replenished.

  • Checking for quality via daily inspections.

  • Clears paper jams and informs technicians of specific problems.

  • Perform various Mail Center activities (sorting, metering, folding, inserting, pickup, etc.)

  • Answer and direct calls appropriately.

  • Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed.

  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.

  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures.

  • Take direction from the supervisor or site manager.

  • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation with great mindfulness.

  • Shipping and receiving.

  • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

  • Sort and deliver mail, small packages.

Qualifications:

  • Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred).

  • Experience running mail posting equipment a plus, but not needed.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodations.

  • Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned.

  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.

  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.

  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
