We, at Amcom Office Systems, A Xerox Company, are seeking a customer service as well as quality-oriented Lead Print Operator to work at our customer’s newly renovated Print and Mail Center located in Moon Township, PA.

Primary Lead Print Operator Responsibilities:

  • Manage / complete all incoming print jobs (digital / interoffice / walk-in) to client specifications.

  • Perform all necessary pre-press and layout edits to ensure jobs are printed both correctly and optimally (in terms of supply).

  • Coordinate with mail staff on any outbound / bulk mailings that are produced by the Print and Mail Center.

  • Place and track work to outside vendors.

  • Manage Print Center supply inventories (paper / envelopes / toners) and incoming Print supply requests.

  • Handle end of month reporting.

  • Promptly assist any walk-ins to the Print Center.

  • Maintain expected level of customer service.

  • Works well individually and in teams.

  • Interacts well with team and customers.

Equipment / Program Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite product knowledge

  • Adobe Suite product knowledge (preferred)

  • Manual / Digital Paper Cutter

  • Book binding machine

  • Shrink Wrapper

  • Xerox D110 Multi-Function Device (MFD)

  • Xerox Versant 180 Press

Supportive Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inbound pickups from USPS.

  • Accept / manage inbound parcel and freight deliveries to the warehouse.

  • Sort all inbound mail to the appropriate campus locations.

  • Handle the delivery of all mail/parcels/inventory items to campus locations according to the set delivery schedules.

  • Meter, label, or otherwise process all outbound mail.

  • Handle the parcel drop offs and pickups with appropriate carriers.

  • Handle the pickup of toner restocks from Amcom / Xerox warehouse.

Additional Responsibilities (as needed):

  • Operate the forklift for inbound / outbound pallets (will provide training towards certification)

  • Assist in maintaining warehouse organization (placing pallets of printing and cleaning supplies on appropriate shelves, sweeping, taking out trash and recyclable items, etc.).

  • Operate the cash register

  • Answer the Print and Mail Center phones

  • Assist in acceptance of inbound deliveries (both parcel and freight).

  • Assist with outgoing parcels and mail.

Requirements:

  • Available to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch.

  • Possess an education equivalent to a high school diploma.

  • Knowledgeable of mail industry, although not required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and technological changes are essential.

  • Applicant must be able to drive cargo vans and a clean driving record is required.
