Xerox Project Manager in Dallas, Texas

Purpose:

The Project Manager leads transition teams responsible for the successful implementation of new business contracts . The key focus is to coordinate and facilitate the transfer of ownership and risk management from the incumbent provider to the service operations teams in U.S. You are accountable for delivering all elements of the total project to required timeframes, quality and budget. This role starts with pre-sales and ends when the customer contracts have been successfully transitioned to the Region/Select service operations teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution design and planning/execution of transition plans for total project portfolio of $15-$20M .

  • Ensure risk within each transition project is pro-actively identified and mitigated.

  • Align with 1-3 USCO Regions/Selects and client operations director/service operations teams.

  • Act as a business leader accountable for financial success and client satisfaction.

  • Provide transition leadership and support for new business opportunities in pre-sales phases on large, complex and global deals at customer meetings, presentations, etc.

  • Responsible for implementing new services within USCO Regions/Selects from identifying resource requirements, timeframes and deliverables per business case, through planning and deployment of Xerox and sub-vendors services and sign-off.

  • Effectively manage risk across defined portfolio.

  • Assess and ensure team uses process to improve productivity/cost productivity.

  • In conjunction with Sales and Service Operations Teams, share information gained from client interaction to identify and leverage new services/business opportunities.

  • Develop and own transition communication plan to ensure consistent understanding of transition progress vs. plan with all key stakeholders.

  • Define and ensure appropriate resources to form delivery team for new service contracts. Work in partnership with pre-sales teams and service operations delivery teams .

  • Provide a focus on SLA definition and customer satisfaction. Ensure information systems and structures to achieve SLA are in place .

  • Provides feedback from direct client interactions to innovate next generation of offering (To: USCO Offering/LEO - TBD).

  • Plan efficient resource utilization across portfolio and complete outlooks, updates, etc. for resource utilization.

Candidate Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology related field

  • 1-3 years of Project Management experience

  • PMP certification desired

  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative work style

  • Possess indirect management capabilities
