Job Title

APAC Human Resources Lead

Reports To

VP HR, EMEA/ Asia

Job Purpose

Ensure HR Business Partnering APAC region in India, Philippines and Cluster countries to deliver growth and maximise operational efficiency.

Outcome

Manage the business stakeholders and partner with the HR function across the APAC region to support the global organisation and maximise synergies

Delivery of HR strategies and programs in challenging environments

Led talent – driven strategy to continue to build Xerox brand locally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Part of the Senior Management team at the region to design and implement HR plans to augment the business priorities, whilst leading the implementation of the HR strategies across APAC

  • Coach and guide leaders on key people issues, HR policies and related matters. Act as a trusted advisor to both the Business and HR Leadership team on solutions, programs, policies and people agenda for the region

  • Accountable for all HR Statutory and Labour Relations & Compliances for the region including statutory filing to government authorities. Responsible for leading HR Statutory audits

  • Drive the organizational initiatives to ensure that the region is equally poised to cost base to revenue targets, and support the Business Leaders in refining organization & productivity, clarifying roles & responsibilities to ensure org. effectiveness

  • Work with the Business Leaders, HRBPs and C&B COE to design and implement variable pay plan for the business groups

  • Liaise with the T&D COE to ensure fruition to developmental needs basis skill gaps

  • Lead Ethics investigations for the SBUs

  • Be an interface and collaborator with the Centers of Expertise (COE) teams. Work with the COE teams to refresh our employee value proposition to engage and attract the best talent in alignment with Xerox Corp. Talent Strategy

  • Work with the regional leadership teams to engage people capability though assessment and development to drive improved business performance. Position and agile, capability driven workforce through collaborative workforce planning

  • Ensures a dynamic pipeline of talent is built through rigorous performance management, leadership assessments, coaching and development of employees

  • Accountability towards reporting and disclosures in alignment with regional Governance & Compliance laws. Be an interface of the retirals trustees

  • Accountable to manage all labour complications in the region in alignment with country / state specific regulations. Periodically review any changes in labour compliance requirements for the region, and partner with Legal and Statutory partners to ensure proper risk mitigation for the organization

  • Reinforce and embed values driven management practices to deliver the most engaged working environment in the industry.

Background and Experience

  • Must have more than 15 + years of overall experience with experience of operating in a senior HR role within a fast-paced organization

  • Commercial acumen with ability to influence and drive change through the business as we as the people function

  • Extensive experience of internal and external stakeholder management

  • Strong understanding of HR Compliance and statutory management

  • Demonstrable experience of collaborating across reporting lines, able to influence and challenge without authority
