• The DocuShare Implementation Specialist will be joining the exciting and expanding Content and Capture Business! This role requires an individual with technical experience and is capable of making intuitive high-level decisions for solution implementation. This could include:

  • Implement Solutions based on parameters documented via Statements of Work

  • Participate in discovery workshops, client kick-off meetings

  • Work with clients and project team members to gathering business and technical requirements to validate the solution will meet client business needs

  • Innovate in areas where relevant to evolve the solution beyond initial design when applicable

  • Identify alternative means, when possible, to more efficiently achieve customer goals within a given solution

• Industry standard tools and methodologies will be utilized to enable functionality and agreed to deliverables

• A strong technical background and excellent IT skills are required as aspects of Implementation will need to be approached using appropriate technology and workflow while adhering to coding standards

• This position will maintain linkage with the Solution Architecture and Development teams to ensure consistency with initial design and custom deliverables

• This position plays a key role in the Implementation of new business, understanding specific client business requirements to execute a solution that is commercially acceptable to the customer.

• Work in close collaboration with Sales, Project Managers as well as other internal and external partners to achieve required objectives

• Scope:

  • Leads and is accountable for comprehensive, end-to-end Implementation of for DocuShare Solutions as contractually agreed to within the Statement of Work and supporting documentation

  • Competency Requirements:

  • Responsible for ensuring all project metrics are implemented to the task level

  • Develop practice capabilities through leadership & mentorship of other team members

  • Develop deep understanding of the technology capabilities

  • Identify up-coming technology trends to further differentiate self and Xerox as a leader

  • Consider market trends, assumptions, risk assessment and governance during implementation

  • Leverage best practices/consistency wherever possible

  • Primary Responsibilities: Client Strategy & Account Development:

  • Primary technical implementation contact; internal & external

  • Based on contractual documentation, identify out-of-scope requests

  • Solution documentation creation

  • Contribute to status updates for client meetings

  • Assist, when necessary, in managing 3rd party vendor integration

  • Identify potential areas of growth and evolution with the solution.

  • General:

  • Recognized as an expert in own function

  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices

  • Experience / Skill Required

  • 5 years’ experience working with solution design, scope, or other enterprise software class Pre-Sales functions

  • 2+ years’ experience scripting in curl, wget, python, perl or other related scripting languages

  • 2+ years’ experience performing integration into ERP, Accounts Payable, or other applications from a DMS system

  • Operating Systems included but not limited to (Installation, Basic Configuration and Administration prefer Windows Server Certification)

  • Web Server (installation, configuration, Certificate-SSL, basic Administration including Authentication); i.e. IIS 7.5 and higher / Apache 2.2.x and higher

  • Relational Databases (installation, basic configuration and administration); i.e. Oracle 12.x and higher, SQL Server 2008 and higher or PostgreSQL 9.x and higher

  • Internet standards: XML, XSLT, Webservices Rest, SOAP

  • Network related protocols (basic configuration and administration); i.e. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, SMTP, POP3, IMAP HTTP|S, FTP, SMB, SSL/TLS, SFTP, SCP, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services

  • Canadian French, while not required, is desirable
