Sales Director; Production Equipment & Indirect / Channel Business (Consumables, Office Products, Production Equipment and Services).

Purpose of the role

Primary goal: To grow and drive Xerox Poland Revenue through the management of the 2 business lines within our sales organisation. To retain and add to the customer base and grow the indirect channel.

Construction and implementation of business plan for the partner and distribution channel and the expansion of the Xerox indirect sales network. Providing direct and indirect support for the product offer for the entrusted group of products, services and consumables. Focus on achieving the assumed business goals, such as equipment sales, distribution, selling in the direct and indirect channels, achieving the expected market share and taking care to maintain an appropriate level of customer satisfaction. This role cover both our High End Production Business and our Office Channel Business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Construction, development and implementation of a sales strategy for the High end Production & Indirect department that allows the company to achieve its goals and increase its market position in Poland (e.g. IDC report)

  • Development, implementation and monitoring of business plans, focusing on the achievement of the organisation's goals, in particular, achieving planned revenues and profits and obtaining a stable position on the market.

  • Responsibility for achieving quantitative and qualitative sales targets.

  • Responsibility for planning and sales forecasting within the managed business line, planning sales cycles and reporting in available company systems

  • Taking care to provide direct and indirect support for the product offer of the Office segment, Production, Services and after-sales revenues (sales of consumables and maintenance services)

  • Effective allocation of technologies, support and resources influencing the organisation of sales of the entrusted group of products and services

  • Provide a structured and controlled special pricing approval process focused on achieving sales revenue, gross margin and business potential / long term strategy (including pricing strategy)

  • Supporting the process of introducing products to the market (Product Launch). Ensuring optimal promotional activities and providing the necessary marketing tools.

  • Active cooperation with other departments and teams in the company in the implementation of the entrusted goals

  • Market recognition and understanding of its needs, as well as analysis of competitors' activities

  • Follow the latest industry trends and best trading practices

  • Maintaining the positive image of Xerox

  • Reliable and regular preparation of sales forecasts and reports

  • Ensuring the development of employees and organisational efficiency based on the Xerox values

  • Defining quantitative and qualitative goals for your team members, taking into account the long-term goals of the organisation and relations with partners

In terms of personal matters of team management:

  • Regularly plan, allocate and monitor the performance of entrusted tasks. Ensure all team members are delivering to their performance goals.

  • Regularly assess employees in the subordinate team in terms of achieving goals and entrusted tasks as well as their professional qualifications,

  • Conduct recruitment processes (internal and external) in terms of the assessment of qualifications and competences of candidates

  • Motivate subordinate employees to improve qualifications and professional competences

  • Submit applications for awards, bonuses, reassignments or transfers of subordinate employees,

  • Prepare a vacation leave plan for subordinate employees and enforce their implementation
