You will be a member of the EMEA Office of General Counsel (OGC) team. EMEA OGC provides advice and support to a wide range of commercial and operational departments within Xerox who in turn need to deliver on the business objectives regarding the sale and support of electronic products, including the management of distribution, software, services and marketing matters connected to this; compliance on ethics and regulatory matters, confidentiality and data management; the application and adherence to internal and external procurement rules and requirements throughout EMEA. These areas may change as Xerox seeks to transform its business, invest in innovation and grow its presence in new forms of print production, software, cloud, the internet of things and AI based services.


Supporting all sales, service and supporting contracts across all LOBs in the UK and other jurisdictions within the EMEA region.


EMEA Contract Management - Office of General Counsel


UK Contract Team Manager


  • To support the business to maximise the revenue streams and profitability opportunities by pro-actively negotiating favourable terms & conditions of high value contracts in compliance with internal and external controls.

  • Managing negotiations with customers and partners including Corporate and Public Sector Customers, , suppliers, distributors and indirect channel members

  • Working across multi-disciplined teams to ensure contractual obligations can be met

  • Provide expert advice on deal construction, contract development and commercial / operational requirements.

  • Act in an advisory capacity within Xerox as a company-wide business advisory resource.

  • Support the mentoring of Commercial Executives and other parties involved in large contract negotiations or tender responses.


  • Negotiating and producing the contracts for a diverse range of commercial transactions with Corporate and Public Sector Customers, suppliers, distributors, indirect channel members & subcontractors to provide the appropriate supporting agreements including any ‘back-to-back’ agreements post negotiation with the contracting party.

  • Review Ts&Cs of non-standard contracts and supporting documentation, to ensure a balanced achievement of:

  • internal & external controls compliance (including accounting policies)

  • ensuring contractual requirements can be fulfilled from legal and commercial perspectives

  • all business requirements

  • Facilitate authorisation for non-standard contracts via the contract approval processes, escalating as necessary.

  • Support the continuous development of the non-standard contracts, contract simplification projects and assist in the evolution of a contract playbook of non-standard terms and conditions with associated business approvals, recommending process improvements to reflect best practice and changing regulations/environment for standard and non-standard contracts.

  • Support business outlooking process by accurate and timely reporting of work in process to line manager and business clients.

  • Engage requisite areas of the business, as required, to support with OGC projects & communication initiatives.



  • Bachelor’s degree, Business Studies or Law recommended. CIPS Level 4 in Procurement or similar professional qualifications could be considered alongside other relevant experience.

  • Success in negotiating complex contracts with minimal supervision

  • Proven project management skills

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring timely completion and follow up

  • Team leadership experience/potential

  • Ability to quickly, succinctly and accurately understand, analyse, summarise and respond to contract provisions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion techniques

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain solid, trusting working relationships internally and externally

  • Collaborative working style with demonstrated track record of building consensus and achieving innovation and results


  • At least four years experience in contract drafting and negotiations.

  • Competence in another European language
