Job Summary: We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our internal customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot Laptop/Desktop hardware problems, Operating system issues, Backup issues also help our customers install applications and programs.

Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving all Laptop/desktop related issues , basic network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.

To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree / Diploma in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering. Microsoft certification is a plus.

Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

Responsibilitiesand Duties :

  • Expert inDesktop Remote support L2/L3

  • Expert inwindows 7/8 /10 OS related issues. L2

  • Basic knowledgeonLAN/WAN troubleshooting.

  • Basicknowledge onIP Phone and VideoConferencing troubleshooting

  • Goodknowledge onActive directory andWindows administration and Backups.

  • ManageDesktop (software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.

  • Providestandard and approved software (operating systems and standard officeapplications) support and the remote management of Desktop Devices usingappropriate tools).

  • Support,Manage, Optimize and Maintain the configuration and installation of theDesktop, to include, but not limited to, patch updates.

  • Experiencein email support, MS office and desktop applications

  • End toend incident, problem management with RCA

  • Ensurethat each Desktop/Laptop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop/Laptopimage.

  • Monitorsecurity profiles and anti-virus software on all Desktop/Laptop Devicesand take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with securityrequirements

  • Basicknowledge on MFD /Printer management

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Graduate and above.

  • Operating System installation and troubleshooting

  • Application installation and troubleshooting

  • Experience in Asset management

  • Files and file system management

  • Basic skills in mobility activities (AirWatch)

  • Flexibility to work in 24 x 7 environment; shift operations

  • Ability to work under pressure and against time lines, SLAs

  • Handle high workloads and volumes

  • Proactive approach, anticipate issues and act on them before they become show-stoppers

  • Sense of urgency in closing tasks

  • Good Communication Skills.
