Role, Purpose and Scope

  • Provide financial support and analysis of Managed Print Service contracts, including the provision of monthly accruals /deferrals to country finance teams and analysis of the P&L to aid Service Delivery and Commercial understanding of contract financial performance

  • Independent contributor with no people management responsibilities;

  • Advisor, helper, facilitator for the Service Delivery community to better understand their business, structure and processes;

  • Month-end financial close activities;

  • Supports his/her manager in delivering their responsibilities and liaises with internal cross functional teams.

Major Responsibilities

  • Monthly calculation of accruals and deferrals for all supported accounts.

  • Manage relationship with Service Delivery personnel and in-country finance teams to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness in month end process, including correction before final P&L submission.

  • Liaise with Service Delivery to prepare monthly / quarterly Outlook for aligned accounts.

  • Monthly performance outlook review and compare to actual. Analyze variance and work with Service Delivery to adjust OL appropriately.

  • Manage P&L queries and ensure inaccuracies are corrected. Identifies key business risks and opportunities and what analysis is required.

  • Support Service Delivery with P&L trend analysis and understanding performance. Proactively inform Service Delivery about deviations and propose ways to improve P&L performance.

  • Make recommendations / suggestions to improve cost base / increase productivity.

  • Take initiative to arrange calls, issue action logs and escalate to ensure P&L results improvements.

  • Assist countries with Quarterly Rental Asset and Lease Reconciliation query resolution.

  • Point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing all information and backup as required, and compliance with internal and external controls standards.

  • Ensure processes are documented and up to date, and contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives by proposing changes to end to end processes

  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects

Background, skills, experience and qualifications

  • Degree in Business Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience in a Commercial, Accounting, other FP&A role within a multinational company (min 2 years).

  • Excellent Accounting and Financial knowledge and skills;

  • Excellent analytical skills;

  • Very high level of knowledge of Microsoft excel;

  • Good Time Management skills.

  • Highly motivated with proactive approach to problem resolution.

  • Attention to detail but ability to see and manage the 'big picture'.

  • Very flexible attitude towards working patterns and able to quickly adapt to unforeseen work demands.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to communicate clearly with different nationalities.

  • Excellent team player, committed approach to team work.

  • Capable of acting on own initiative.

  • Quick to understand and interpret processes and help others in adapting and applying processes.
