Overview:
Xerox Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver who will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution and basic set-up of office equipment, supplies and various goods. This is a full-time opportunity with daytime hours from Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
Enforces inventory control
Provides quality service by following organization standards.
Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Completes deliveries by driving truck to customers as needed.
Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
Work in other areas of Operations as Necessary.
What You Need to Succeed:
Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record
One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred
Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs.
Basic mechanical understanding preferred
Ability to use smart phones and tablets
Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
*Required to complete an annual DOT physical and drug screen if operating a vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs.
