Xerox Technical Support Specialist Dutch in Leinster, Ireland

Technical Support Specialist

We have an exciting new project in the Xerox Shared Service Centre in Dublin and we are looking for Nordic/ Dutch Language speakers to join our friendly Service Desk team as soon as possible. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers with technical problems and will provide the best and most effective solution to the Xerox end customer.

The roles will suit enthusiastic candidates with customer service experience and a willingness to learn and develop. We will consider candidates who are already based in Dublin or willing to relocate.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary country contact for customers on all escalations

  • Handling telephone/Web calls/ Video calls and dealing with them, efficiently and with empathy to ensure a positive experience for our customers

  • Inviting customers to participate in telephone problem resolution using available tools to diagnose and resolve technical problems

  • Facilitating or escalating customer issues and complaints, both internally and externally

  • Co-ordinating all consumable calls in order to enable dispatch of Xerox & Multi-vendor consumables to customers

  • Co-ordinating all Break/Fix calls in order to enable dispatch of Xerox & Multi-vendor engineers to customers

  • Liaising with Various Helpdesks, Xerox and Third Party Service Providers escalating through these avenues to close

  • Opportunity to take on additional tasks and projects as directed

  • Validating Customer details and requirements on data entry, categorize and deal with appropriately

  • Maintaining accurate database information

You will have:

  • A-Level Education / Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

  • Fluency in English and one of the following languages: Dutch, Flemish, Danish, Finnish, Swedish or Norwegian

  • Experience of working in similar customer support role

  • Skill and competency at providing professional technical telephone support.

  • Ability to control interactions with customers using persuasion and influencing skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations.

  • Aptitude for understanding and troubleshooting technical problems.Strongly self-motivated to learn new skills and become expert in the position

  • An Excellent team player

  • Flexibility with working time patterns

  • High resilience and ability to work under pressure able to adapt to unforeseen work demands

It would be a benefit to have:

  • A knowledge of IT Fundamentals, Operating Systems, Desktop Applications, Networking, Network protocols, etc

  • A strong aptitude and interest in developing detailed printer hardware knowledge to a Specialist level.

You will have:

  • A-Level Education / Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
