Responsible for underwriting mid-ticket General Markets transactions or larger complex, transactions for Major Accounts or Public Sector customers and a portfolio of assigned accounts. Owns critical aspects of risk monitoring for accounts of moderate complexity. Conduct initial underwriting and financial analysis to make sound credit decisions, assign and renew customer credit lines, and monitor existing portfolio accounts. Responsible for supporting sales area as well as other related departments to manage and resolve any credit related issues.
Conduct initial customer analysis including financial statement review, cash flow analysis, payment performance and industry risk within designated LOS terms.
Prepare risk assessments and present management with clear and concise risk recommendations
Set internal credit lines and perform aspects of portfolio monitoring and management
Interface with the Xerox Sales Organization to answer inquiries regarding customer account information, credit request status, and reasoning on credit decisions
Interface with and interview Customers to obtain needed information, gain insight on business operations, resolve credit issues, and minimize potential losses.
Participate in one or more projects that aim to improve risk processes and tools
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
Experience and Skills Required:
4 Years experience in commercial underwriting, financial statement & cash flow analysis, with portfolio analysis experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate confidently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Financial Spreading Software
Experience in preparing and presenting credit recommendations to Commercial Credit Risk Personnel, Sales and Management
