Manager of Employee Engagement, EMEA

The Manager of Employee Engagement for EMEA will be responsible for creating and driving dynamic and engaging communications strategies and tactics for EMEA to support Xerox’s transformation and cultivate a high performing work environment.

The ideal candidate will work closely with HR and other functions to advance the understanding of the business while sharing information in a timely, consistent and transparent manner. A key focus will be creating a strong sense of community essential to keeping employees engaged and energized.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is a top-notch writer, technically savvy and can plan strategically and manage tactical execution, and comfortable wearing many hats. They must be collaborative in approach, detail-oriented and be able to multi-task.

Lead responsibilities:

Works to create content and uses technology to increase both the frequency and quality of employee engagement – with lead responsibility for Xerox’s EMEA Operations ­– and provides support for other enterprise-wide projects.

Serves as an employee engagement business partner with HR - and other functions - providing strategic communications expertise on a wide range of communications projects for senior leaders.

Owns the execution of specific communications plans to support Xerox’s ongoing transformation. These plans will include, but are not limited to, developing messaging, creating deliverables and managing project teams as required. Works with functional leaders and stakeholders to develop communications plans that include recommending internal and external tactics to deliver success.

In line with company direction provides direction and support to the EMEA communications leads. Get two-way feedback, ensuring effective and engaging communications and sharing best practice across international markets, working with the in-country communications leads.

Contributes to the editorial process by recommending and writing compelling stories and tactics that build our sense of community across the company.

Collaborates with communications and marketing teams to ensure alignment in messaging, timing and objectives.

Collaborates with other departments to improve employee engagement tools.

Located primarily at out new EMEA & UK HQ in Uxbridge, Middlesex.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant work experience(corporate/employee/executive communications or journalismpreferred)

  • Strong writing andeditorial skills - must be able to adapt writing to different voices andstyles quickly

  • Ability to write in away that employees want to read, cutting through jargon andcorporate-speak to formulate clear and concise executive and strategicmessages for internal audiences on complex topics

  • Strategic-thinking andplanning and ability to win high-level buy-in and work through others

  • A highly collaborativeapproach

  • Resourceful in gatheringinformation from across the organization

  • Champion multi-tasker

  • Extremely organized withstrong attention to detail

  • Professional andexecutive presence conducive to working with senior leadership

  • Knowledge about employeetools to drive higher engagement

  • Advanced skills in usingMS Office and be technically savvy; knowledge of O365/ SharePoint ishelpful

  • BA/BS undergraduatedegree
