Xerox GB Industrial Placement Scheme 2020-21

The Xerox Industrial Placement scheme is highly respected and designed to give students support, development opportunities and maximum exposure to the corporate environment. Application Process:

You will apply to undertake a placement in your area of preference

  • Marketing

  • Events

  • Finance

  • Treasury

  • Projects and Procurement

As long as you meet the basic criteria, you will be issued with SHL testing to complete. If you do not meet our pass mark, you will be notified of this within a week of completing. If you do pass, you will be added to the shortlist and we will be in contact by the start of January to let you know if you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre. Assessment Centres will take place in February and will be for all positions with the exception of IT roles, which will be advertised separately in due course.

Please note - there may be a delay in receiving a response from when you apply to being invited to an assessment centre but you will be notified if you have not been successful.

What skills do you need?

The programme is designed for undergraduate students studying for a degree or degree equivalent required to complete a placement year as part of their study. Placements usually commence between June and July of each year and students must be available to work for 12 months.

You will need to meet the following criteria:

  • On track to receive a 2:1

  • Be a 2nd year students looking to do a 12 month placement as part of your 3rd year

  • Have a minimum of 12 weeks work experience

  • Have 5 GCSEs Grade A-C

  • Have 240 UCAS points minimum or the equivalent in the new marking tariff
