Position: Pursuit Sales Executive

Location: Saint John, NB

The Pursuit Sales Executive (PSE) is a key member of the Business Development Pursuit Sales Team, contributing to the delivery of the sector’s sales targets and business objectives. The PSE is a primary face to the client for prospecting, opportunity development, closure and overall account stewardship, ensuring a positive client experience, and leading to increased retention and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works as a client-facing, core account teammember within designated prospect accounts:

  • Supports 4 Pursuit Client Managers (PCMs),co-managing and executing on strategy for 3-5 client accounts within eachaligned PCM base

  • Prospects for, identifies and closesopportunities in aligned accounts via strategic team efforts in conjunctionwith PCM, and via individual efforts

  • Drives small equipment deals

  • Pinpoints opportunities for software solutionsales with emphasis on Docushare and XMPie

  • Builds a strong understanding of Xerox servicesand solutions, our competition in the industry and positioning to alignofferings with client need

  • Expedites Corporate/Master Agreements and ensuresappropriate internal touchpoints are handled in a timely manner

  • Owns process for ensuring client renewals aremanaged and delivered in a timely manner, ensuring all internal touchpoints aremet and associated paperwork is completed

  • In conjunction with PCM, sets, attends andleads client calls to include virtual demos ensuring internal stakeholderattendance and timely follow up

  • Deploys a variety of styles to persuade ornegotiate appropriately

  • Develops solid relationships across wider organizationswithin Xerox to support speed-to-sale process

  • Maintains familiarity with Xerox systems andsoftware, and attends internal training, education, and sales compliance calls

  • Attends regular team and account calls with PCMsales leadership

  • Provides comprehensive updates to PCM salesleadership

  • Commits to delivering an exceptional clientexperience

  • Fosters a collaborative, ethical, inclusive,responsible and positive approach to all internal and external interactions

Skills, Knowledge & Ability (minimum requirements):

  • Strong communication and customer relations skills.

  • Demonstrate sales aptitude; aggressive, persuasive, good listener, self-motivated.

  • Good mathematical ability.

  • Well organized; Effective time and activity management skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours (to cover all time zones).

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Mature and self-confident with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Intermediate level user of all Microsoft Office Applications
