Overview:
ComDoc Inc., A Xerox Company, is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a motivated Shop Technician to join our team based in North Canton, OH. The Shop Technician is responsible for set-up and refurbishment of a variety of printers and copiers, including Xerox and other manufacturers. This is a full-time opportunity in a shop / warehouse setting.

What You’ll Do:
Assemble and refurbish various models and manufacturers of copiers and printers for our
customers.
Customize and install software, applications and other customer requested programs.
Troubleshoot, breakdown and diagnose equipment in need of repair, including software and
hardware updates.
Test equipment for performance and copy quality.
Ensure that required materials are included in packaging.
Confirm that corresponding assigned serial numbers match with order requests.
Update the operations team on the status of each work order.
Assist with warehouse operations such as unboxing and distributing materials while maintaining a
clean, organized and safe work environment.
What You Need to Succeed:
Displays a willingness to be trained on digital office equipment.
Prior hands-on experience with troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical equipment repairs.
Ability to use hand tools.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to lift, push, pull and maneuver objects weighing up to 100lbs.
Experience using smartphones, laptops and tablets with exposure to Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel, and Outlook).
Previous experience with software and hardware updates preferred.
Familiarity with networking and internet connectivity preferred.
Experience with copiers and printers preferred.
