Job Role Summary

  • Responsible for the management of projects for internal customers using regionally prescribed tools and methodologies across a number of functional areas.

Purpose:

  • The role holder develops, documents and maintains program/project schedules, resource plans and program/project budgets.

Scope - Job Specific

  • Manage projects within the Software and Services, Business Intelligence and Sales Enablement parts of the business. In addition to this specific area of the business, project manager may support and manage projects in other parts of the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • May perform one or more of the following duties:

  • Participates in or leads cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects

  • Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery; Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints

  • Responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling and delivery of all projects prioritized in alignment with expectations and business needs

  • Ensures the ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs

  • Performs all other duties as assigned

  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project.

  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project

  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

Candidate Background: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Through prior work and/or school experience candidate has basic skills to perform routine tasks

  • Strong financial analysis and planning skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Proven analytical skills with high degree of attention to accuracy and detail

  • Good working knowledge of project management tools and practices

  • Proven analytical skills with high degree of attention to accuracy and detail

  • Well organized, good time management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team oriented environment

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Education Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Business/Finance

Preferred: MBA

Professional Certifications:

Preferred: LSS Yellow belt certification
