Responsible for providing guidance regarding security practices and procedures. Ensures physical security for employees, company data and communication systems. Ensures all procedures comply with legislative requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist Manager of Protection Services in overseeing Security Operations at Xerox World Headquarters and the administration of Xerox Security policies and controls.
Develop and maintain Security operating instructions for guard force operations to include identity management, visitor control, special assignments and incident response. Build, improve, and maintain relationships with Xerox employees, property management, contractors and other Security services providers.
Monitor and maintain alarms and surveillance equipment. First responder to Security incidents.
Patrol headquarters location to identify risks and vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. Ensure optimum security is provided and it is consistent with Corporate Security Policies and Standards
Support protection details for executive travel and at major/special events such as Board of Director meetings, Investor Conferences, industry product shows and customer events.
Conduct investigations into policy violations. Act as focal point for any investigations involving security; to prepare reports and note follow up action.
Maintain a high level of competency through professional training, skill development and affiliation in order to identify and remediate Security risks impacting Xerox business.
Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all Xerox World Headquarters staff on disasters; fire and bomb procedures; use of technical equipment and routine security duties. Assist in ensuring that knowledge is tested in accordance with Xerox policies.
Assist with emergency response for medical, fire or other emergency incidents, insure Security personnel respond appropriately as per standard operating procedures
Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with Xerox employees, contractors, vendors and other Security staff
Conduct new hire security orientation and support ID Badging and Access Control processes for Xerox headquarters.
Support Executive Protection details as needed.
The person must be ready to travel overnight domestically and or internationally on short notice and should have an active passport
