Xerox Head of Executive Talent Acquisition in Norwalk, Connecticut

The Head of Executive Talent Acquisition is an influential stakeholder manager who will develop and lead a team of recruiters to manage all senior level recruitment at Xerox. The role interacts directly with executives, including Executive Committee members and the global HRLT. The successful candidate will be accountable for the executive recruitment lifecycle and will develop strategies to successfully recruit for current openings and future talent needs. Accountabilities:

  • Establish and managethe executive recruitment function; develop, implement and manage revisedprocesses and ways of working to ensure internal clients and candidates have anexceptional experience

  • Liaise directlywith Executive Committee members, their first line managers, and senior HRBusiness Partners to develop recruitment strategies

  • Map rolecriteria, define position description and document specification

  • Identify, sourceand recruit prospective candidates using a variety of channels

  • Conductconfidential interviews; assess candidates to ensure qualification match,cultural fit and compatibility

  • Devise and carry outa targeted research and talent pooling strategy

  • Presentshortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries

  • Offer guidanceand facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion

  • Follow up with stakeholdersand assist with the candidate’s transition and onboarding process

  • Network and buildlong-lasting client relationships

The Candidate

The candidate is flexible, determine, brings advanced knowledge of executive recruitment methodologies, and has well defined senior stakeholder management abilities. Long tenure in the executive recruitment arena ideally from within a consultancy, and an in-house environment. The ability to build talent networks, source for roles through a variety of methodologies and manage the end to end process will ensure success.

  • 12- 15 years of experience in executive recruitment from both consultancy and in-house environments

  • Deep understanding of executive recruitment processes and sourcing methodologies

  • Proven ability to build, train and lead a team of executive recruiters

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases

  • Strong knowledge of candidate’s selection methods

  • Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)

  • Client focus along with relationship building skills

  • Business acumen and market insight

  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills

  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
