Job Description:

The Manager of Integrated Communications will lead the creation and implementation of integrated communications plans for Software & Services. These plans will include both internal and external tactics, working closely with members of other teams such as PR and social as needed to execute a successful, multi-faceted strategy.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who's a top-notch writer, skilled at both strategic planning and managing tactical execution, and comfortable wearing many hats. They must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to influence key decision makers.


  • Works with functional leaders and stakeholders to develop a strategic communications plan that combines internal and external tactics to deliver success. For example, employee or partner communications, social media and PR.

  • Owns the execution of the communications plan, which includes but is not limited to developing messaging, creating deliverables and managing project teams as required.

  • Collaborates with marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging, timing and objectives.

  • Partners with the external relations team on identifying and executing media and speaking opportunities for the Software & Services organizations.

  • Advises the Software & Services leader on how to use communications to effectively navigate change and enable Xerox’s transformation.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Must quickly learn to adapt writing to different voices and styles

  • Resourceful in gathering information from across the organization

  • Comfortable multi-tasking

  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail

  • Professional and executive presence conducive to working with senior leadership

  • Relevant work experience with a minimum of 8 plus years strategy/messaging development, writing and editing experience (corporate/executive communications preferred)

  • Ability to formulate clear and concise executive and strategic messages to internal and external audiences from complex topics

  • Strong writing and editorial skills
