TheSeniorManager ofSocialMedia will be responsible for developing and owning our social media strategy, voice and delivery across all our channels. Great storytelling will be central to repositioning Xerox, our people and technology in today’s modern marketplace. This role is critical in developing and deploying those stories across appropriate social channels. The ideal candidate has experience running best-in-class, differentiated social media campaigns, understands the rapidly changing social media landscape, is highly attuned to news events and opportunities/watch outs and adopts a strategic approach that ties back to overall Marketing & Communications strategy.


  • Generate original and differentiated content strategy for social channels, based on business needs, trends, consumer insights and analytics

  • Craft an influencer strategy to target key social handles that broaden Xerox reach and awareness

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, PR and Chief Storyteller to build meaningful social media plans and campaigns that support business initiatives

  • Manage campaigns from initial concept through to execution and reporting while working closely with the Paid Marketing team to ensure coordination/amplification

  • Act as a brand storyteller, edit and curate the brand voice across all channels —creatively adapt per medium approach

  • Be opportunistic: stay on the news and insert Xerox into relevant conversations. Respond to comments to create sense of community.

  • Set and manage social KPIs; develop in-depth reporting as well as comprehensive social ROI analysis; leverage analytics to optimize content performance

  • Monitor social media conversations, pull social listening data and be able to compile insights into actionable next steps to help manage Xerox’s reputation

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, new platforms and channels, industry developments and research

Required Experience:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience working for major brands in highly trusted capacity

  • Experience developing ground-breaking ideas, social media campaigns and content that captures the intended audience’s attention

  • Strong writing, editorial and visual skills

  • Strong analytical skills and proven record of measuring and analyzing results

  • Quick learner with good judgment who can be nimble and work independently

  • Deep knowledge of social platforms, social publishing tools, and paid social strategies

  • Must quickly learn to adapt writing to different voices and styles

  • Resourceful in gathering information from across the organization

  • Comfortable multi-tasking

  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
