Purpose:
The role holder will be responsible for complex XFS programs or elements therein. The successful candidate will think strategically and manage methodically. She/he partners across Xerox to ensure the success of XFS organizational, digitalization, revenue growth and financial reporting programs.
Working alongside heads of operations, sales and functions, the Director scopes global programs by using proven best practices. The Director defines and executes work products, timing, and the value to be delivered.
Through structured governance, the role holder works across functional lines to enable XFS programs. Superior communication skills enable the candidate to communicate program goals and direct team activities.
The role holder leverages appropriate methodology while carrying out responsibilities. Additionally, the program director works with adjacent and parallel programs to reduce operational friction while achieving program objectives.
The role holder defines and negotiates issues and choices to reduce ambiguity and move strategies forward. As such, the role must demonstrate leadership not only with internal consulting but also the discipline in which the program is delivered.
Key Responsibilities of this Position Include:
Maintain relationships with Business Unit leads and leadership to encourage strategy realization
Create narratives to document current state, present a comprehensive analysis of options, and propose solutions
Act as primary representative of functional team for large-scale multidisciplinary programs
Work across different functional teams to implement XFS programs and strategic initiatives
Ensure appropriate governance practices are in place to monitor and control the project
Define and achieve program metrics to measure program performance
Lead regular program reviews to drive value realization and organizational learning
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with team members, and use digital tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables
Manage the interdependencies between workstreams and adjacent programs
Proactively identify and manage risks with appropriate controls
Basic Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Relevant Master's Degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant agile certification (SAFE)
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ Years in product/program management or equivalent role managing large scale, cross functional complex programs
Direct experience in managing full lifecycle projects, or subsections of large/complex project
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get the job done
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss business concepts in digital, innovation, leasing, and transformation while managing trade offs
Business writing ability and experience, including executive presentation
Proven track record of managing to deadlines and objectives
Strong planning, organizational, leadership, meeting facilitation and negotiation skills
Ability to perform critical analysis of complex projects and value streams
Advanced proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS Excel and PowerPoint
