Reporting to the CHRO, the VP for Talent and Organization has accountability for contributing to the development and ongoing management of company’s center of expertise (COE) for talent and organization. This role will serve as the human capital thought leader and change agent capable of development, implementation and promotion of new cutting edge, “World Class” programs in the end-to-end Talent Management space. The VP has primary accountability for developing strategies, creating, and managing talent and organization effectiveness programs, including management/leadership development, succession planning, performance management, employee training, engagement, diversity & inclusion, and organization design. As a member of the senior HR team, the VP will contribute to overall HR strategy and programs and work collaboratively and effectively with field HR and functional leaders to ensure the delivery and implementation of relevant programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent: Develop and implement talent management strategy and solutions, such as talent review, succession planning, executive assessment, coaching and individual development planning. Manage the business’ pivotal roles, with a focus on strengthening long term succession for these roles, and in the short term, help to ensure that they are filled with high potential leaders. Support the development and mobility of high potential employees at senior and mid-career levels, ensuring an enhanced pipeline of high performing professional talent.

  • Staffing: Cultivate programs designed to attract and retain the talent and skills necessary to grow the company. Develop and implement the talent acquisition strategy to drive Xerox’s hire processes, including an overall assessment methodology that is aligned with the company’s core leadership values and competency model.

  • Learning & Development : Develop strategies and programs to prepare current staff so that they have the skills and knowledge needed to support/ enhance performance.

  • Performance Management : Design and implement comprehensive strategies, programs, and action plans to improve critical organizational performance; develop change management initiatives designed to build a culture of high performance.

  • Diversity : Develop and implement the diversity and inclusion programs on a global basis.

  • Culture: Work with senior leaders to identify and develop new Xerox culture, values and behaviors. Utilize workforce analytics to drive change, enhance employee engagement and to inform HR decision and policy making across the organization.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 15 years of Organizational Effectiveness / Organizational Development experience with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related degree or comparable practical work experience, advanced education preferred.

  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational design skills who wants to have a real impact on the future direction of our growing organization.

  • Pragmatic and analytical with a strategic mind.

  • Experience using metrics and statistics to measure and support talent management initiatives.

  • Proven ability to design and implement strategy.

  • Extensive experience in leadership assessment.

  • Excellent observation and facilitation skills.

  • Thought leader and strong collaborator.

  • Ability to establish relationships at all levels and geographies throughout the organization and cross-functionally; ability to support teams in multiple locations with travel as required.

  • Consistent success working with and influencing senior leaders
