Role Summary :

Reporting to the CFO, the VP, Investor Relations is responsible for developing, leading and executing an integrated investor relations program that translates Xerox strategies, plans and performance to the investment community including investors/analysts globally.

Accountabilities for the Role :

  • Integratefinance, communication, marketing and securities law compliance to enable the most effective two-way communication between Xerox and prospective companies, the financial community, and other constituencies, which ultimately contributes to a Xerox’s securities achieving fair valuation

  • Design investor relations strategy, execution plan and budget. This role is the control point for all information and messaging to stakeholders (investors, analysts, employees, customers, regulatory and governmental constituencies and members of the media). Includes development of press releases, presentations, executive communications, social media.

  • Provide strategic counsel and positioning advice to CFO/COO/CEO on key investor messages and run the quarterly earnings process.

  • Build and maintain intelligence on existing and emerging competitors for distribution to Xerox management and Board.

  • Organize and place Xerox at key investor conferences, driving the organization and creation of presentations and related one-on-one meetings.

  • Lead the collection, analysis and presentation of market analysis to executive leaders and Board of Directors.

  • Analyze shareholder base and target appropriate investors and/or securities analysts.

  • Collect, analyze, and present to management relevant information on stock ownership and performance, investor perceptions and analyst opinions.

  • Maintain the company’s investor relations website and record of investor relations meetings and events.

  • Lead periodic investor day event and materials preparation.

  • Lead the planning and execution of occasional investor roadshows.

  • Field investor calls – educate and update investors and analysts about Xerox’ strategy, business model, and performance.

  • Build and maintain market business intelligence data for distribution to Xerox management and Board.

  • Work with Treasury in engaging with fixed income investors and analysts.


  • Master degree in specialized field (Example: MSC, MBA etc.)

  • 15 + years of Investor Relations, finance or corporate communication positions for a publicly traded company.

  • Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills.

  • Experience leading IR activities through a major transaction and transaction communications.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create and maintain strong relationship dynamics with stakeholder, internal and external – one-on-one and large group presentations.

  • Comfortable with valuation and modeling techniques used by investors and analysts

  • In-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets, with established relationships in them and the ability to establish new relationships in the industry.

  • Exceptional and influential Leader.

  • Positive reputation with the investment community based upon credibility, consistency, visibility, access and breadth and depth of knowledge.

  • Some overnight travel required, 10-15% of time.
