VP of Investor Relations
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Development Officer, the VP of Investor Relations is responsible for developing and executing an integrated investor relations strategy that communicates Xerox’s business, operational and investment strategies, plans and performance to the investment community, including investors and analysts, and other key stakeholders.
Design and develop the investor relations strategy, execution plan and budget. This role is the control point for all information and messaging to the investor community and a critical participant in the development of messaging to other key stakeholders (employees, customers, regulators, media, etc.). Includes development of press releases, presentations, executive communications, social media, etc.
Broaden and strengthen Xerox’s relationships with equity research analysts and investors by, among other things, consistently and clearly educating these constituencies and communicating updates
Engender investor confidence in the company’s vision and strategy for creating shareholder value
Lead the collection, analysis and presentation of market activity and financial trends to executive leaders and Board of Directors.
Lead the collection, analysis and presentation of stock ownership, investor perceptions and analyst opinions to executive leaders and Board of Directors.
Analyze and inform senior management of competitor strategies and performance and shareholder concerns and priorities
Oversee the quarterly earnings announcement process, including preparation of scripts, presentations and model Q&A and coordination of conference calls
Provide strategic counsel and positioning advice to CFO/COO/CEO on key investor messaging
Coordinate Xerox’s appearance at key investor conferences, driving the organization and creation of presentations and related one-on-one meetings.
Maintain the company’s investor relations website and record of investor relations meetings and events.
Lead planning and preparation for periodic investor days/events and investor roadshows.
Work with Legal to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
Work with Treasury in engaging with fixed income investors and analysts.
Work with Accounting on preparation of the company’s Annual Report and 10-K
10 + years of experience in Investor Relations, finance and/or corporate communications for a publicly traded company and/or doing sell-side equity research or buy-side public company investment and engagement.
Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create and maintain strong relationship dynamics with stakeholders, internal and external – one-on-one and large group presentations.
In-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets, with established relationships in them and the ability to establish new relationships in the industry.
Exceptional and influential leadership skills.
A professional who is also entrepreneurial and has a client-minded focus.
Strong understanding of securities laws and disclosure and filing requirements
Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets
Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines
A Bachelor’s degree
An MBA or FMVA certification is an asset
