Xerox CSR III, Technical Service Representative (TSR 1) in ON, Canada

Job Summary: Xerox photocopier repairtechnician

The incumbent is accountable for the diagnosis and repair of Xerox devices. Xerox will train the individual and will develop the necessary product knowledge, troubleshooting, customer and territory management skills through formal classroom training at a Xerox facility. The products to be supported are a mix of color, black and white and other products.


  • Assumeresponsibility for an assigned territory

  • Correct serviceproblems within the assigned product mix

  • Completethe required reports and records accurately and in a timely manner

  • Plan andinstall mandatory and optional retrofits

  • Communicateeffectively with customers and Xerox employees

  • Attendand satisfactorily complete required Xerox training programs

  • Demonstrateproper care and maintenance of Xerox property

  • RepresentXerox to customers in a professional manner

  • Work andcommunicate effectively in a large work-group.

  • Ability to work flexible hours. Shifts rotate between Monday - Friday 7:30am - 2:00am

  • Availability for rotation of standby coverage for weekends once/month


  • Previous technical competence with electrical or mechanical systems an asset.

  • Candidate will be required to pass a proficiency test

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Good customer skills on the phone and in person

  • Demonstrated competency in use of Xerox laptop applications

  • Previous copier/printer experience an asset

  • US Travel Required for Training (Requires a valid passport)

  • The position is full time with benefits. Xerox will provide vehicle, laptop, cell phone and all tools needed .

  • Xerox will provide all necessary training.

  • Must have Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
