Location:

Onsite at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30

Responsibilities:

  • Operate digital print equipment - Black & White and Color Copiers/Printers

  • Understanding of workflow tools such as Free Flow and/or Fiery

  • Operate standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, bindery, laminating, desktop folders and drill)

  • Point of contact to receive customer requests, provide estimates, schedule, and track print production request/s

  • Perform basic quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run

  • Track and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date

  • Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes

  • Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product

  • Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels

  • Problem solve basic issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements

  • Set up and run mail insertion equipment

  • Trouble shooting insertion problems

  • Attention to detail to allow for accurate balancing of files

  • Ability to follow written instructions for processing different types of jobs

  • Utilize standard manual pallet jack

  • Accurately total data for creation of CPC electronic statement of mailing

  • Ability to be on your feet for up to 80% of your day

Additional responsibilities - Scanning/Mail/National Archives Back up:

National Recoveries Clerk – Back-up as needed

  • Monitor National Recoveries mailbox

  • File incoming loose correspondence (scan, file)

  • Sort, file all incoming mail through the Mail tool

  • Ensure onsite files match scanned files in Sharepoint

  • Archive closed files to Iron Mountain

  • Ensure all communication is up to date

  • Prepare Site PO’s, manager Site PCard

Mail Clerk – Back up as needed

  • Sort and Scan Mail - upload into Mail Software

  • Monitor clients decision in online tool, scan, redirect, pick up, shred

  • Monitor client mail pick up of mail

  • Package shipping, in Shipping software

  • Manage incoming and outgoing Packages

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual required – fully fluent in both English and French

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

  • Post high school technology training or experience (Preferred)

  • 1+ year experience in a Digital Print Shop and Customer Service environment

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written)

  • Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe and other relevant software
