Novity™, a commercial venture introduced by Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), brings advanced predictive maintenance (PdM) technology to the industrial manufacturing sector to reduce costly unplanned downtime. The Novity solution is an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology that uses IIoT sensors and proprietary algorithms to enable industrial manufacturers to see the future health of their production assets. The Novity TruPrognostics™ engine relies on a combination of machine learning and physics-based models of equipment. This allows Novity to predict equipment failures with 90 percent or better accuracy and lead times of months, not weeks or days.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to join the team. This person will report to the Novity General Manager and be responsible for building and managing a delivery function in North America, including solutions delivery and customer success. The role will be accountable for meeting delivery requirements with regards to timeliness, quality and professionalism, including designing and supporting the implementation of back-end and supply chain processes that may be owned by other functions within the venture. The role will work closely with the venture leadership team and support and influence both technical and business development / sales leadership with various activities and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement all business and operational processes associated with solutions delivery to client

  • Developing and managing delivery project plans for new customer installations

  • Partner with sales and engineering to ensure solutions are specified, priced, and delivered to meet customer requirements in a competitive market, and delivered to each new customer with the highest degree of professionalism

  • Accountable for delivery scoping and costing for new customer installation projects

  • Creation or procurement of digital tools for best-in-class delivery planning and execution

  • Identify, engage, and programmatically manage delivery partners as necessary to optimize operations and meet profitability targets

  • Develop and refine solution specifications design and estimation processes.

  • Develop an organizational structure and team to deliver high value add implementation services and solutions that exceed customer expectations.

  • Direct and control delivery to ensure that solutions of the required standards are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times.

  • Ensure all relevant safety standards and protocols are met during delivery

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree; MBA or Masters major in operations desired

  • PMP certification will be a plus.

  • 5+ years of progressive managerial experience in system integration or industrial solutions, including IoT or cloud solutions

  • 5+ years of experience in process industrial sectors (oil and gas, chemicals)

  • Experience managing complex projects, enterprise clients, partners, and organizations

  • Proven track record of establishing strong, executive level customer relationships

  • Business acumen and financial (P&L) skills/metrics driven

  • Proven experience managing remote resources and global teams

  • Knowledge of commonly used IT and OT technology stacks commonly used in process industrial settings, including SCADA/DCS systems (preferably more than one vendor)

  • Experience with cloud software platforms (e.g., AWS, MS Azure)

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
