Xerox Contract Specialist in Raleigh, North Carolina
The Contract Specialist (CS) is responsible for supporting sales in the contracting process. The CS role is a control function to ensure Service contracts meet contracting requirements (process, systems, and approval requirements) as well as requirements for downstream administrative, supply chain, and delivery processes. Contract Specialists are engaged and relied on for counsel throughout the contracting process as well.
Proficiency in complex Xerox contract structures and requirements.
Proficiency in various systems and tools (including and not limited to Xerox applications: ValuQuiX, CDB, Web Upload Tool, OnBase, Salesforce, etc.)
Subject Matter Expert on a significant number of processes, with a basic understanding of various process nuances.
Interact with Sales, Finance, Pricing, Legal (including Management) throughout the sales cycle and provide appropriate guidance as needed.
Understand detailed contracting requirements and:
Ensure contracts are established to align withapplicable offerings and financial structures
Validate contract packages for completeness,accuracy, required approvals; Work cross functionally to resolve issues
Submit required contract package contents fordownstream processing and retention.
Understand Deal Review approval requirements, and facilitate Final Contract Deal Review and Signings process
Support multiple deals concurrently, managing priorities to meet required deadlines and business objectives
Prioritize work balancing objectives of the CS team, Sales teams, and overall business
Work in collaboration with various stakeholders to answer questions and resolve issues properly
Escalate issues or questions quickly for assistance in resolution
Work flexible hours at month end, quarter end, year end, or other times as necessary to support business needs.
College degree in Business Administration or related field
High proficiency with MS Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), web-based tools and Windows
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing) with a wide variety of internal and external teams.
Able to establish, nurture and maintain relationships with internal and external teams
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, and able to receive/give constructive feedback
Able to maintain effectiveness and flexibility when managing multiple priorities with great sense-of-urgency.
Ability to quickly grasp concepts, and apply them to varying situations in daily work activities
Ability to understand complex business process and enforce compliance requirements. Knowledge of contracting or related processes desirable.
Ability to apply concepts in adapting established methods to new situations, challenge current process, identify and pursue process improvements
Detailed, precise, and organized in carrying out responsibilities
A self-starter and overall resourceful individual, with ability to work independently.
18-24 months of previous experience, with 1 years of similar experience
Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent customer service delivery
