Sales Specialist: Agency Software Specialist
Location: Xerox Digital Sales in Saint John, NB
Position Concept :
The Agency Software Specialist is a Sales Specialist role that is responsible for the sale of a defined Xerox software portfolio while providing support to Xerox Agency sales reps. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced skill set and subject matter expertise in Xerox software &/or software or workflow-based sales.
The sales specialist will be required to coach, deliver product training and provide sales support to the sales force as well as making calls to existing/potential customers on a regular basis. Directly impacting moving the sales cycle forward is a key priority for this position.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Act as subject matter resource for Sales Reps in addressing product questions, customer objectives, proposals and utilization of tactical actions.
The sales specialists will be responsible for key high impact activities including delivering software virtual demos, live customer demos via the Virtual Demo Centre and leading studies/assessments
Qualifying and providing sales support for software sales cycles
Engagement of Extended Resources i.e. Field Specialists, Partners, Pricing, Legal, Risk, Credit, Service Delivery and Support Team
Development and delivery of customer proposals.
Customer facing contract creation and explanation.
Support to point of contract submission and handoff to Sales and Delivery.
Strategic Discussion of existing software accounts. Focus on account retention and growth, identifying opportunities to expand our partnership in Current Accounts
This is a quota bearing assignment.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:
Candidate Education: University Degree preferred
Demonstrated successful sales experience
4-6 years of successful sales / marketing experience (at or above plan)
Excellent business acumen and relationship skills
Excellent presentation skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think creatively when developing solutions
Demonstrated ability to grasp technical product and software knowledge etc.
