Driver/TCC Toner Installation Specialist

About the Job:

Our driver will need to load, transport, deliver, install, and remove toner for our clients(TCC)

Basic Requirements for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

  • To be considered for this position you must clear a Motor Vehicle Report check and must have a Valid Texas Driver's License. Prior to starting you will be required to provide proof of insurability.

  • This is a driving position so you will need to be available to travel up to 90% of the time (locally in the greater DFW area).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as maps, delivery and installation instructions/procedures. Ability to write simple correspondence such as email. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate to customers in person and over the telephone.

  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to

  • deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

What a typical day may look like:

  • Reviewing and verifying delivery schedule and attached paperwork. Contacting appropriate dispatcher if needed.

  • Checking paperwork E.I. sales orders

  • Loading toner and picking up used toner.

  • Confirming delivery, pickup and/or movement with customer prior to delivery Verifying address. Recording any special instructions or directions.

  • Driving truck(or van) to customer's location.

  • Recording delivery information on delivery schedule.

  • Locating customer contact.

  • Organizing and completing all required paperwork per delivery.

  • Unloading and tagging all returned items.

  • Conducting a daily delivery truck maintenance check for operation and safety.

  • Conducting a daily review of required paperwork, tools and equipment needed.

  • Assisting in other areas of the Parts and Shipping Dept if needed.

TONER INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL DUTIES:

  • Locate printer with matching equipment number. Remove used toner and replace with new toner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently move equipment weighing up to 900 pounds. Movement includes pushing and pulling. This may require a great deal of physical exertion with a pulling motion up to 150 pounds. The employee may also be required to lift approximately 100 pounds in handling and transporting items
