The Senior Manager of Benefits is influential and has accountabilities for all benefits programs across EMEA. The role is responsible for driving Xerox’s (The Company) competitive position in the labor market by developing and implementing new benefit strategies. The world of Xerox is transforming, as is the world of benefits, and to be successful he/she needs to understand the changing landscape of Total Rewards, be a strategic thinker, and have in-depth international exposure that will help transform Xerox into a technology powerhouse.

Accountabilities:

  • Plans, develops, and/or participates in area and industry surveys. Investigates new benefit programs, improves existing programs, and provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs. Examines possible plan design or benefit cost changes.

  • Reviews and analyzes changes to country laws pertaining to benefits.

  • Analyzes results and develops specific recommendations for review by Senior Management.

  • Responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing employee benefits programs (including Benefit Car Policy) on multi-regional basis that are innovating to attract and retain generational talent across various employee groups and countries.

  • Accountability and oversight for UK benefit plans design, renewal and administration

  • Helps lead and implement Wellbeing and Mental health Strategy across the company.

  • Manages annual renewal process for all countries within the Global Benefits Broker arrangement. Work with local country finance and leadership team for approval.

  • Work with the Global Benefits Broker and local country contacts to manage plan vendors and third-party administrators to affect changes in benefit program.

  • Provides advice and guidance to the country on operations, benefits setups, processes and help streamline administrative operations in the different countries.

  • Documents and maintains the procedures for benefit renewals and processes by country

  • Becomes knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within area of responsibility.

  • Analyzes and reports on global benefit plan cost, enrollments and provides reports on global plans benchmark.

  • Assures—thorough audits, reports and personal contact—that The Company benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

  • Ensures all benefit notifications/communications to employees are communicated and distributed in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for reporting violations of The Company's policies and procedures; identifies or participates in remediation actions.

  • Corresponds and provides guidance and resolution to issues. Educates, advises and counsels others on health and welfare matters.

  • Proactively drives continuous improvement.

The Candidate:

  • The successful candidate is flexible, determined and brings advanced knowledge of the international benefits landscape, and will provide strategic leadership and management in the design of health & welfare, wellness, disability, life insurance, pension and other retirement benefits. He/She needs to be driven, and a successful influencer with a strong business acumen.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience in benefits planning and administration.

  • Solid international experience across multiple regions and developing markets.

  • Strong knowledge of Health and Welfare Plans, Disability and leave plans.

  • Good knowledge of tax, legal, compensation and immigration issues.

  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Vendor management experience required.

  • Ability to create a workplace environment that fosters collaboration, quality and excellence.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong power point and excel skills.

  • Proven ability to effectively delivering difficult messages and driving change, while building and maintaining relationships with senior business leaders.

  • Strong, organizational, team-building and analytical skills.

  • Experience with M&A activities.

  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally with an MBA.
