Purpose

The Total Rewards Sales Compensation and Compensation Manager will be the primary Sales Compensation lead as well as general compensation lead in the EMEA region. In this role the employee will need to be dynamic, influential and professional with energy, a creative mindset, and strategic thinking abilities who will manage the overall design, implementation and communication of the Company’s Sales Compensation for EMEA countries/clients as a main focus with additional responsibilities to support Executive and Broad based compensation.

This is a significant and challenging role that is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, fostering best practices, and driving operational excellence. This role will report to the Director, Global Sales Compensation and spend approximately 75% of time on Sales Compensation and 25% of time on general compensation matters. Will be responsible for working closely with EMEA Regional/ Country GM’s, Sales Leaders and HR peers as well as the coordination and relationship with regional resources that support Sales Compensation.

Scope

  • Will report to the Director of Global Sales Compensation and matrix into the broad base and executive compensation leaders on the Total Rewards team. Will work closely with the EMEA Sales leaders to develop and execute a strategy roadmap for sales incentive compensation process that is aligned with our global business strategy and industry best-practices.

  • Implementation of Compensation strategy including provision of plans, process and targets across EMEA countries.

  • Provides strategic input on plan design and other compensation strategies; such as SPIFFs, marketing actions and, results-based compensation programs.

  • Drive analytics and evaluations of Sales Compensation plans and their effectiveness and propose recommendations to manager and senior leadership.

  • Provide reporting/analysis of key metrics/trends and highlights risks, concerns, areas of improvement, and provides recommendations on program / incentive comp actions improvements.

  • Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges/ regulatory issues

  • Implement and manage governance of Sales Compensation programs within Region. Work closely with the regional HR resources to ensure controls are administered and implemented and commissions are processed timely and accurately. May include international accountability; and may include some global accountability.

Candidate Education

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required. An M.B.A. or advanced degree preferred; designations in areas of finance and accounting will be considered a plus.

  • CSCP (Certified Sales Compensation Professional), CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or other Compensation Professional Certification preferred.
