Xerox Business Operations Manager in Virtual, New Jersey
Responsible for managing and controlling the activities that provide operational support for the Workplace Solutions business group. Primary objective is to support the Senior Leader, Workplace Solutions Offerings in developing/implementing team governance framework for operational decisions, process efficiencies and special projects. Leads central coordination of organization activities (operations and planning) and ensures timely flow of information to and from the executive office. Leads process improvement initiatives through use of measurements, accountability, analysis and consideration of process alternatives to arrive at best practices.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assimilate and synthesizebusiness results suitable for ELT review and consumption
Focal point for growth andtransformation projects, drives team to deliver on key milestone data andresults. At times, be assigned portions of these projects to own and actupon (e.g., Project Own It/Athena)
Ensure information flow to andfrom the executive office, via all types of venues (forums,correspondence, speeches, conferences, etc.)
Facilitate communication and workclosely with the leadership and executive management team of other Xeroxorganizations.
Understand organizationalpolicies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate decision-makingprocesses are followed
Act as the senior leader’srepresentative as needed
Collaborate with other members ofthe leadership team to ensure planning for key meetings
Review correspondence and draftresponses for the senior leader as appropriate, or forward to theappropriate person for response and/or reply
Conduct research, presentationand talking points for the senior leader on an array of topics and forboth internal and external audiences
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to champion projects andinitiatives that affect the long-term goals and objectives of the organization
Ability tolead initiatives cross-functionally and engage, influence and work withpartners without direct HR responsibility of resources
Extensiveexperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree ofcreativity and latitude is expected.
Impeccablewritten and oral communication skills. Dynamic individual with stronginterpersonal skills and operational perspective.
10 years ofexperience and proven track record in management. Demonstrates successfuland innovative performance in key business operations roles
Ability towork independently with minimal direction towards long range targets
Ability towork with, influence and communicate to all levels of management
Uses independentjudgment to accomplish objectives
