CSR Communications Manager:

This role will manage all communications campaigns to support Xerox Corporate Social Responsibility storytelling. The right candidate will be a strategic thinker and someone who provides in-depth expertise to build and deliver impactful communications that support the company’s reputation and CSR story. This individual will interact daily with senior executives to communicate complex business topics in a clear and concise manner, supporting the overall Corporate strategy. This self-starter will have robust attention to detail. The ability to understand and articulate complex business topics, while analyzing industry trends, and the ability to form trusted working relationships with senior executives are must have qualities.

The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for CSR communications planning and execution of the following portfolios, with additional work performed as needed including support for other Corporate Development and PR projects.

Daily, this person will be responsible for the management and execution of these communications programs to both external or internal audiences. The incumbent will provide full spectrum communications support to ensure the corporation’s business objectives are clearly articulated and promoted externally; they will alsorelay information that promotes the brand and the public’s understanding of the organization. Strategic thinking, strong writing skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment are critical to success.


  • Lead development and execution of an overarching communications plan to detail our value proposition to relevant audiences. Support the annual CSR report and ensure relevant and timely material on Identify differentiators and storytelling opportunities to garner media interest and work with the PR agency to garner coverage.

  • Lead projects of significant organizational profile via strategic communications plans.

  • Draft, proof and issue Xerox Corp news releases

  • Serve as a Businesswire account manager

  • Create coordinated prep documents for senior leaders’ media engagements

  • Develop “out of the box” ideas for communications plans

  • Work collaboratively with marketing to build engaging content for Xerox website

  • Contribute to new Corporate Narrative & manage all tactics / deliverables

  • Management of communications announcements and portfolios as needed


  • Engaging social team in all comms plans & copywriting as needed

  • Developing content for MyXerox

  • Some administrative responsibilities include creating draft and summary emails for manager and senior leaders, scheduling meetings and Sharepoint management


  • Five or more years proven experience as communications specialist or manager

  • Experience in copywriting (AP Style) and editing

  • Solid understanding of project management principles

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities

  • Proficient command of English

  • BS/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field
