The DocuShare Technical Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring a positive client experience within the exciting and fast growing Content and Capture Businesss. This individual takes responsibility and accountability for ensuring that the project produces the required results to the required scope, milestones, quality and budget.

Project Manager is accountable for the project delivering the expected and agreed outcomes which are accepted by the customer(s) identified in the project initiation/planning artifacts, e.g. the business case, project initiation document, etc.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

  • Customer:

  • Achieve project SLAs as defined by the SOW

  • Support building a reference base of 75%+ of customers to enable new business opportunity and a strong Xerox brand

  • Financial

  • Achieve time to revenue and time to profit results aligned to project business case

  • Create and deliver upon project implementation budget

  • Process

  • Maintain strict adherence to the PMP Framework for all aspects of projects

  • Use and continuously improve standard process and demonstrate innovative ideas

Scope of Role:

  • Project Manager will lead projects ranging of varying revenue amounts and duration. Will ensure risk and schedule are effectively managed and communicated.

  • The role starts with customer statement of work (SOW) and ends when customer signs off on completion of Professional Services.

  • Deeply understand practice offerings, capabilities and solutions of the competency area. Project Manager transitions steady-state support.

  • Assist in assuring client satisfaction and maintaining a strong client relationship through delivery excellence.

  • Manage the financial performance of account projects.

  • Work with delivery organizations to ensure staffing/talent strategy and investment is aligned with account growth and strategy.

  • Support sales teams within a matrixed corporate organization and will need to master internal processes and practice

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio (Customer and Financials)

  • Manages the delivery of project, ensuring that project produces results to required timeframes, scope, milestones, quality and budget.

  • Effectively manages and communicates risk within project plan.

  • Ensures all members of project team have robust project plan per standards.

  • Process

  • Responsible for on-going planning and coordination of required resources.

  • Develops and maintains a relationship with client team/project manager.

  • Ensures all project management deliverables are maintained and shared appropriately - risk log, project documentation and measurement for client and business case.

  • Supports communication plan to ensure consistent understanding of transition progress vs. plan with all key stakeholders. This includes ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed on any significant risk or changes with defined decisions or actions executed.

  • Ensures project timeframes and costs are understood by all relevant stakeholders.

  • Leads defined project status updates.

  • Ensures appropriate sign-off and acceptance of project deliverables.

  • People

  • Ensures resources planned within projects per standards/business case/SOW

  • Actively participate in customer discovery, requirements gathering, discussions and presentations

  • Provide customer education and through leadership on best practices and Workflow Automation related offerings/solutions throughout the sales process

  • Help sales evolve, define, and communicate our differentiation strategy

  • Maintain visibility on and contribute to all opportunity relevant information throughout the sales cycle, (requirements, services estimate, statement of work, custom presentation recordings, etc..) where appropriate

  • Background, Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree preferred- Business, IT, Service Outsourcing.

  • Relevant professional qualifications: PMI, PRINCE, or aspires to obtain these.

  • 5-7+ years of experience leading projects for service outsourcing to required scope, quality, timescale and budget.

  • Experience of managing medium scale projects.

  • Demonstrated experience instituting change management with clients.

  • 5+ years of experience managing virtual teams of highly skilled project and/or transition manager and developing skills to standards.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Project.
