Xerox Integrated Communications Manager, Global Offerings in Webster, New York

Job Description

The Manager of Integrated Communications will lead the creation and implementation of integrated communications plans for Global Offerings. These plans will include both internal and external tactics, working closely with members of other teams such as PR and social as needed to execute a successful, multi-faceted strategy.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who's a top-notch writer, skilled at both strategic planning and managing tactical execution, and comfortable wearing many hats. They must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to influence key decision makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Workswith functional leaders and stakeholders to develop a strategic communicationsplan that combines internal and external tactics to deliver success. Forexample, employee or partner communications, social media and PR.

  • Owns theexecution of the communications plan, which includes but is not limited todeveloping messaging, creating deliverables and managing project teams asrequired.

  • Collaborateswith marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging, timing and objectives.

  • Partnerswith the external relations team on identifying and executing media andspeaking opportunities for the Global Offerings organizations.

  • Advisesthe Global Offerings leader on how to use communications to effectively navigatechange and enable Xerox’s transformation.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years writing andediting experience (corporate/executive communications preferred)

  • Strongwriting and editorial skills

  • Abilityto formulate clear and concise executive and strategic messages to internal andexternal audiences from complex topics

  • Mustquickly learn to adapt writing to different voices and styles

  • Resourcefulin gathering information from across the organization

  • Comfortablemulti-tasking

  • Extremelyorganized with strong attention to detail

  • Professionaland executive presence conducive to working with senior leadership
