Performs disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and final assembly of equipment for printing systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Disassembly of machines into components
Clean, inspect, and modify parts as required.
Complete assembly processes, establish critical settings, validate expected parameters, and mechanical test and trouble-shooting activity as required for large-scale production printing systems.
Review and interpret machine and system specifications, mechanical drawings, and diagrams as required
Adjust and repair machines, assemblies, and components as needed
Follow safe job procedures and maintain a clean work environment
High school diploma or GED required
Successful completion of the Manufacturing Assessment (Purdue Pegboard, Reading Comprehension, Visual Assembly)
Successful complete of Reading Comprehension and Mathematics (Applied and Computational)
Prior manufacturing experience desired
Ability to follow written and oral instruction
Works well with others.
Ability to operate hand tools and power assist tools.
Ability to perform light to moderate lifting (<50lbs.) activity
Computer proficiency to access process instruction and record assembly activities
