Xerox Inside Partner Manager (Telesales) in Wilsonville, Oregon
Note: The candidate for this role must be able to
report to the office in Wilsonville, OR.
Responsible for inbound and/or outbound customer service requirements and sales inquiries.
Responsible for delivering the inside sales plan while providing pre and post-sale support to field sales executives.
Coaches, delivers product training and supports the field sales force, as well as makes joint virtual sales calls to assigned customer base on a regular basis for product /industry assigned.
Individual contributor role - works collaboratively with field sales personnel as well as existing and potential customers.
Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline while acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
Moderate decision-making authority guided by policies, procedures, and business operations protocol.
Supports field sales personnel on opportunities with a defined geography and product segment through telephone and web enabled tools.
Partners with field sales to offer a high level of technical competence in product / program or industry. segment. Provides guidance and support for sales strategy /plan, reviews, forecasting, RFP generation, proposals, and presentations.
Provides subject matter expertise on assigned products and/or programs to channel partners.
Communicates Xerox value proposition & client benefits clearly articulating brand advantages in competitive landscape to enable Xerox's position as the preferred vendor.
Work with appropriate support teams as required through the sales cycle. May facilitate & support financing, distribution operations, channel marketing, order processing, and customer service.
Achieves customer satisfaction targets.
This is a quota bearing position.
High School Diploma/GED required
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Communications
Demonstrated 1-3 years successful sales experience (at or above plan) solving customer business problems by architecting and implementing hardware, software and services-based solutions.
Ability to think creatively when developing solutions.
Expertise in the product area relative to the assignment.
Product knowledge (hardware and software) relative to the assignment specifics.
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required. Visio is an asset.
Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated business maturity.
Must be able to work dedicated shifts as needed by territory. Coverage may be required nationally across all time zones.
Experience of operating in an indirect working environment, sales and marketing experience in a channel sales environment, including competitor information.
