Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and updating scanning profiles as required using Kodak Alaris software

  • Collaborating with Team Leader

  • Providing 1st line technical support for the scanning team

  • Working with the Digital Specialist on discovery and due diligence for new requirements

  • Reviewing and providing feedback on documentation

  • Creating new scanning profiles

  • Testing of profiles

  • Involvement with user acceptance testing

  • Supporting queries from customers and management

  • Maintaining software on the team’s PCs

  • Maintaining and updating trackers

  • Creating consolidated management information

  • Maintaining scanning hardware

  • Liaising with suppliers for 2nd line support

Essential Skills:

  • Computer literacy - be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Word.

  • Be able to learn new programs/applications quickly

  • Interpersonal and communication skills. Communicating with the wider team, management, customers and suppliers.

  • Self-motivated and able to both work on own initiative and as part of an integrated team, ability to identify work priorities so as to maximise time available

  • Ability to logically process information

  • Ability to pass security clearance

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Qualification in ICT or similar

  • Prior experience with document digitisation/scanning

  • Previous use of Adobe Acrobat

  • Previous use of SAP would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
